Stickers made with the Scan'N'Cut

Looking for something new to try with your Scan'N'Cut? Make some stickers! Jenn used printable Sticker paper, and made them water resistant by adding a self laminating sheet on top. She then used her Scan'N'Cut to scan and cut out the stickers.

If you are new to making stickers, you can begin with the ScanNCut Sticker Starter Kit and Scan'N'Cut Sticker Sheet Set, but you can use most printable sticker papers.

Once your stickers have been printed, you can use you Scan'N'Cut to scan the stickers to cut data, and then cut them out. If you want more control over the outline, you can bring the scan into CanvasWorkspace, and then image trace, or use the pen tool to create the cut file so your stickers are cut out exactly the way you want them to be.

Find the Vibrant Abstract Hippo PNG here, and the Whimsical Summer Ice cream clipart here.

Ask the Expert!

FAQ: Do I really need a serger?

We would always say YES, because you can use a serger for almost every project you want to create, however it really does depend on your sewing needs.

If you are interested in sewing garments, then you absolutely want a serger. It will increase your speed, and leave you with clean seam finishes where applicable. Working with knits? A serger is a necessity.

Quilter? Yup, you can quilt with a serger, and serge your fabric before pre-washing to eliminate fraying.

Name That Tool?

A Hot Hemmer is an essential part of your pressing station. You can measure fold and press all in one step on either straight edges or curves. Either use steam or a dry iron, and because of the texture on the ruler you don't need to worry about fabric slipping while you are pressing it.

Until we have an opportunity to see you again! Stay healthy, stay safe!
