Cover Stitch 101

Get familiar with your Coverstitch as you explore its capabilities and features as they apply to your sewing needs. Construction finishing and embellishment-this machine can do so much! This class focuses on teaching students how to thread, adjust tension, change stitches and care for their coverstitch machine.

Class fee is waived for machines purchased at That Sewing Place. If you have purchased your machine at That Sewing Place and would like to register, please contact the shop, and we will take care of registration for you.

You will receive an email closer to date of class with any class notes and other materials that you may need.

Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details: Beginners, and more experienced sewist welcome. This class is geared to teach you to use your cover stitch from the ground up, but we always have a few students that want to dig deeper, and re-master the basics with their cover stitch.
Materials Included: Any materials for the class can be purchased for 15% off after class registration.
Requirements: Your cover stitch, in good working order, tweezers (ask about Jaret's Favourite!), your machine manual, fresh needles, thread, scrap fabric (6"x12"), and pen and paper for note taking. Have this all ready at your home sewing station. This will ensure you don't miss anything from the lesson.
