Taming the Beast: Serger 101
Learn to confidently operate your serger by understanding the thread settings and how to make them work for you. Discover speed-threading techniques and how to adjust your stitch settings to suit your sewing needs. This class also covers serger maintenance, and what you can do at home to keep your serger running in peak condition in-between servicing.
This class is geared for the complete beginner and the experienced sewist that wants to hone their skills.

Skill Details: | Beginners, and more experienced sewist welcome. This class is geared to teach you to use your serger from the ground up, but we always have a few students that want to dig deeper, and remaster the basics with their serger. |
Requirements: | Your serger, in good working order, tweezers (ask about Jarets Favourite!), your machine manual, fresh needles, serger thread, various pieces of scrap fabrics, and pen and paper for note taking. |
