Couching 101
Do you have a jacket you want to spruce up? Or a new project that you want to add a little something special to? Why not try couching?!
Couching is an embroidery technique, where threads and/ or yarn is laid across the surface the fabric, or garment, and stitched in place. The possibilities are endless, because you can create any design you want, use a variety of different colors, and typed of threads, and it can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.
For this class, we are focusing on learning this application on an existing item of clothing, so choose something in your closet that you want to give a little extra oomph to, and let your creativity shine!
