History of TSP
That Sewing Place was established in November 2010 with the well-known radio promo on The Jewel 88.1, that said:
Well, That Sewing Place has grown from its original roots. We opened with one unit that housed the storefront, a classroom, and an in-house tech shop. The business grew and so did we. We expanded the storefront, created two classrooms, and a dedicated tech shop for all the increased machine repairs. In 2016, as business continued to increase, we expanded again. We increased our classrooms to accommodate the number and variety of classes we offer. We also opened a large Tech Repair Unit that services machines from many geographic locations – we even have some shipped to us from across Canada.
We are all about sewing machines and we take our business seriously. We are authorized dealers for Bernina, Brother, and Juki. But we don’t just sell machines. We fully support our customers by providing them with the education, knowledge, and support needed to operate and love their new machine. We offer a dedicated class schedule to cover a variety of customer interests. We are there to assist in every facet of support the customer needs from tips to tricks to adjustments of all the nuts and bolts.
We are a local business that cherishes our customers. We want everyone to feel like they are part of the family and have a place to come to and be part of a like-minded community. A place where they can learn, purchase, find support (of all kinds), have fun, a coffee, tea or just a chat.
